The House

Yannon Towers is an interesting Gothic Revival villa designed in the picturesque tradition and distinguished by its Baronial-style tower and fine interior.  It was built in 1851, modelled on Balmoral.  It has been split into 3 individual houses, number 2 being a holiday let of very high quality.  Filled with interesting antiques and decorated in a style sympathetic to the age of the house.  It was lovingly restored 3 years ago after being left in a very poor state by the previous owners.  Over the years we have installed a new roof, windows and central heating system being the most recent major works.  Work is ongoing and we hope to landscape the garden soon.

Living Area

A luxurious area with quality leather sofas and wooden floors forms the centre of the home.  A grand crystal chandelier and ornate ceiling add to the quality feel of this room.  There is access directly onto the garden through the handmade, bespoke double doors.

If it’s entertainment you want, there is a large flat-screen TV, Free View Access, DVD/CD player and an extensive library of books for you to choose from to borrow and complimentary WiFi.

Most importantly, the sitting room provides plenty of space for entertainment and relaxation.

During winter months we offer the option of an open fire.  Enough coal and logs are provided for a couple of fires – more supplies can be bought from local supermarkets and garages.


Kitchen and Dining Area

With a view over the rear garden and out to sea, the high specification kitchen has all the conveniences you would expect, including integrated fridge/freezer, combination Rangemaster cooker, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee making facilities and toaster. Cutlery and crockery is supplied.  This superb social space means that no one need be excluded from the holiday atmosphere.  The dining table easily accommodates 8 and the window seat provides a fun seating area for children.


Master Bedroom: on the top floor of the building, this room provides far reaching ocean views from a quality king size bed with lovingly applied details and furnishings

Bedroom 2: an ocean view twin room with quality bedding and feature wallpaper. (top floor)

Bedroom 3: this is a small single room ideally used as a nursery/children’s room, with a feature wall of Quentin Blake wallpaper (top floor)

Bedroom 4: lovely double bedroom with amazing sea views from the full height windows (first floor)

Snug/bedroom 5: this room is next to the kitchen and is set up as a TV room/snug, perfect for the children whilst the adults are eating dinner.  We can also provide a double sofa bed in this room so it can be used as extra accommodation (upon request only). (first floor)

Bedroom 6: on the ground floor, this room is the old linen store.  It provides cool accommodation with a sky-light in the ceiling which allows you to star-gaze as you fall asleep.  Feature wallpaper and a four poster bed enhance the look of this room.


Stunning family bathroom with the original freestanding cast iron bath, large shower enclosure, WC, basin and quality features.

An additional outside WC with normal facilities is provided for your convenience.



The gravel driveway provides parking for 2 large cars with extra on-road parking off site.  The garden at the back of the house is perfect for BBQers, cocktail-sippers and sunset-lovers to enjoy the stunning sea views.  At the front of the house is a covered veranda area.  Al fresco dining is not to be missed at a property so perfectly positioned.
